Our Commitment to Serve

Embark on a journey of compassion and dedication to supporting children whose stories were cut short. Our commitment to ensuring they rest peacefully knows no bounds.

Every child deserves a dignified farewell, and we are here to support families grieving the unexpected loss of a child by providing essential burial resources for children aged newborn to 17, ensuring they can focus on healing rather than financial concerns.

Resources for caskets, urns, burial garments, and obituaries. Join us in honoring these stolen lives with grace and empathy.

Our Mission

Azania’s Stolen Lives Project Mission is to offer comfort and dignity to grieving families during the most difficult time of their lives, giving them the chance to focus on healing, rather than the financial burden of burying their loved one.

Our Origin

Azania’s Stolen Lives Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded by Erika Washington. Erika’s personal experience in dealing with crises of death of a child has encouraged her to help others to navigate the process; in burial and emotional support as well as providing resources for children at risk of abuse, suicide prevention and anti-bullying.

Te’Veannah (Azania) I'sha Smith

(4/20/1997 - 5/13/2017)

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we remember Te’Veannah (Azania) I’sha Smith, whose life was taken from us far too soon.

Te’Veannah was a young soul whose presence brought light and joy to everyone around her, and her absence leaves a void that words cannot fully capture. We honor her memory by supporting and uplifting other young adults who face struggles. We are committed to creating a compassionate environment where every young person can find the help and support they need.

In memory of Te’Veannah, we strive to provide resources, counseling, and a listening ear, ensuring that no one has to navigate their challenges alone. May her legacy inspire us all to offer hope and understanding, and may her spirit continue to shine through the lives we touch in her honor.
